About Execuly
Turnaround leadership for small businesses that need more than advice.
Execuly was founded to fill a gap in small business leadership. In companies under $10M, executive duties often fall to the owner, or worse, fall through the cracks entirely. There’s not enough work to justify a full-time hire, but too much at stake to keep operating without clear leadership. That’s where Execuly comes in.
We provide embedded executive leadership in finance and operations. We don’t advise from the outside. We step into the work, stabilize the core, and lead turnarounds from within. We fill the executive leadership gap from the inside, no need to get hung up on titles. What matters is momentum. We bring the structure, accountability, and experience needed to get it back.
Built from experience
Execuly was founded by Diesha Cooper, a seasoned turnaround architect and operational executive. She co-founded a family-owned industrial company in her teens, learning the business from the ground up. Years later, when that same business was in crisis, she made a decisive move, buying it with her two younger brothers and stepping into full leadership. She led the turnaround herself, rebuilding operations, strengthening margins, and transforming the company into a thriving industrial firm.
That experience shaped her entire career. Diesha has spent more than 20 years in small business, filling the executive gap when the pressure is high and the path forward isn’t clear. Her leadership style is hands-on, no-nonsense, and deeply embedded in the work.
Why Execuly
Execuly isn’t a consulting firm. We don’t drop in with decks and disappear. We join your team, take ownership of what’s broken, and drive the work forward. From managing cash flow and operational strategy to hiring, reporting, and vendor negotiations, we lead the functions that struggling businesses can’t afford to get wrong.
We believe small businesses deserve access to the same level of strategic leadership as larger firms, but delivered in a way that works for their scale, budget, and pace. We operate on a fixed-rate retainer model, working part-time hours with full-time focus. Engagements typically last 18 to 24 months, with a 30-day cancellation policy.
Who we serve
We work with small business owners, particularly those with companies in distress or transition. Whether you're overwhelmed, under water, or just need a steady hand at the wheel, Execuly steps in to lead.
Industries served include manufacturing, e-commerce, wellness, construction, and nonprofit. Our clients don’t need advice, they need a fixer. That’s what we bring. And it’s how small businesses turn around.
